What it's worth
Here's what Growth actually includes
We'd rather over-deliver than argue about price. This is what you get in your first month on Growth.
Bonuses come with any monthly plan. Values are what we charge for them on their own.
Our guarantees
The deal, in plain English
Three promises in writing, so the risk sits with us, not you.
Closed by the 10th, or that month is free
If your books aren't closed by the 10th, you don't pay for that month. Applies while your accounts stay connected and you answer the weekly text within 3 business days.
CPA-ready, or we fix it and the next month is free
If your CPA or tax preparer sends back anything in our year-end package, we fix it within 5 business days and your next month is on us.
No contracts. Your books stay yours.
Month to month. Cancel any time with 30 days' notice, and your QuickBooks file and every report go with you.
Any number of forms, on any plan. 1099-NECs are due to the IRS and your contractors by January 31, so this is the month to get it handled. We onboard 10 new businesses a month so every client gets a bookkeeper who knows them.

How we compare
What bookkeeping usually costs
Published surveys put outsourced bookkeeping for small businesses at roughly $250 to $350 a month for basic plans, $500 to $700 for mid-range, and $1,000+ for premium service. Here's the difference with SolBook.
| Typical bookkeeper | SolBook | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Hourly, or a monthly fee that grows with transactions | Flat monthly, agreed up front |
| Deadline | "When we get to it" | Closed by the 10th, or that month is free |
| Knows your trade | Generalist | Home service only: crews, 1099 helpers, job costing |
| 1099s and W-9s | Extra, or left to you | W-9s collected all year, 1099s e-filed |
| Texas sales tax | Rarely | Filed for you on Growth and Scale |
| Contract | Often 12 months | Month to month |
| Spanish | Rarely | Sí |

Questions
Straight answers
Why a flat price instead of hourly?
Because you should know your bookkeeping bill before the month starts, the same way your customers want a quote. If your volume grows enough to need a bigger plan, we tell you first. We never change your price mid-month.
Is there a contract?
No. Plans are month to month. Give us 30 days' notice to cancel and your QuickBooks file and reports go with you.
What does "closed by the 10th" mean?
Every bank and card account reconciled, every transaction categorized, and your profit and loss report sent to you by the 10th of the following month. If we miss it, that month is free, as long as your accounts stay connected and you answer the weekly text within 3 business days.
I'm behind. Which plan do I start with?
Start with a Catch-up Sprint at $350 per month behind ($1,500 minimum). It's done in 14 days. Begin a monthly plan within 30 days of finishing and your first month is free.
Do you do taxes?
We don't prepare income tax returns. We hand your CPA or tax preparer a clean year-end package, which usually lowers what they charge you. We do file Texas sales tax returns, 1099s, payroll reports and your Texas franchise tax report.
What's the yearly discount?
Pay for 12 months up front and you pay for 10. QuickBooks setup is free on any yearly plan.
Ready to get your evenings back?
Two minutes, eight taps, and you'll know exactly where your books stand, plus which plan fits.
